At Alberta Bike Swap, our goal has always been simple: get more people on high-quality, safe, not stolen bikes.

We recently sat down to crunch the numbers for our upcoming season. While the cost of putting on these events has risen and we are operating without grants this year, we made a big decision. We are keeping our selling commission at 15%—the same rate we’ve held since 2015.

We know things are getting more expensive everywhere else, but your community bike swap shouldn’t be one of them.

What you need to know for this year:

• Consignment Fee: $15 to enter a bike.

• AMA Member Perk: $10 entry for AMA members!

• The 15% Rule: We only take a 15% commission on sold bikes to keep our wheels turning.
