As a community-driven initiative, YEG Bike Coalition is the leading voice for urban and utility cycling in Edmonton.

The YEG Bike Coalition is a community powerhouse working to integrate cycling into the daily life and culture of Edmonton. From ward ambassadors to policy advocates, they teach Edmontonians how to share their lived experiences with decision-makers to push for transportation freedom.

Synergy in the Capital:

• Infrastructure Advocacy: While Alberta Bike Swap focuses on the mechanical safety of the bike, YEG Bike Coalition focuses on the safety of the street. Together, we promote a Vision Zero future for the capital.
• Education & Empowerment: We share a mission of education—helping riders become more confident and helping citizens become Local Change Makers to improve Edmonton’s future.
