Campus Commuting: Our Partnership with Bike Root U Calgary

Post-secondary life is expensive, busy, and often stressful. But getting to and around campus shouldn’t be. That’s why we are so proud of our strategic alliance with Bike Root, the University of Calgary’s volunteer-run, non-profit bicycle workshop.

Located right on the U of C campus (you can find them in the Art Parkade), Bike Root is a grassroots hub for DIY bicycle repair. They provide the space, the tools, and the volunteer expertise to help students, faculty, and the public maintain their rides without breaking the bank.

Bike Root provides sustainability and knowledge. This strategic alliance is a perfect match of accessibility and education. For many University of Calgary students, a bicycle isn’t just a hobby—it’s a financial and environmental lifeline.
