The Magic of Stampwene and the Power of Good People: Celebrating the Arcurve Spirit

Another week in the books, and our hearts are completely full. Lately, we’ve been bouncing between Stampede breakfasts and community events—or, as we like to call it, Stampwene.

What is Stampwene, you ask? It’s the ultimate Alberta portmanteau: a cross between the high energy of Stampede and the pure fun of Halloween. Now, having lived on a farm, I absolutely know my way around a barn—though back then, our “Stampede uniform” was strictly rubber boots and overalls! But these days, the absolute pinnacle of our season is the annual Arcurve Stampede Party.

We want to take a moment to truly extoll the unmatched kindness, goodness, and welcoming atmosphere that defines every single event Arcurve puts on. Walking into an Arcurve gathering doesn’t feel like attending a corporate function; it feels like coming home to family. They have mastered the rare art of bringing together people who are simultaneously brilliant, deeply kind, and genuinely wonderful.

The warmth in the room is always palpable. It’s a space where community connections naturally thrive. This week, we got to catch up with our fantastic friends from the Calgary Chamber and spend time with the incredible team at Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids—who, in a perfect testament to Arcurve’s spirit, are currently getting custom software built by Arcurve to help fuel their mission of feeding local kids.
