Get Ready! Seller Registration is Open for Calgary & Edmonton 2026

The snow is melting, the paths are clearing, and the Alberta Bike Swap season is officially upon us! We are thrilled to announce that seller registration is now open for our two largest events of the year.

Why Sell at the Alberta Bike Swap? Selling a bike privately can be a hassle. I don’t know about you, but “is it available?” is maddening. Between no-shows, safety concerns, and low-ball offers, it takes up a lot of time. At the Alberta Bike Swap, we’ve streamlined the process:

• Safety: Our team of technicians inspects every bike. Buyers feel confident knowing the bike is rideable, and sellers don’t have to worry about liability.

• Secure Transactions: We record every serial number and run them through our proprietary software to ensure no stolen bikes enter our sale.

• Fast Sales: With a 92% success rate, most bikes are sold within hours of the doors opening. You set the selling price.

2026 Event Schedule

• Calgary Swap: Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Vivo for Healthier Generations.

• Edmonton Swap: Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Alberta Aviation Museum.

How to Prepare Your Bike To ensure your bike passes our tech check, please make sure it is:

1. Clean: A clean bike sells faster and is easier for our techs to inspect.

2. Rideable: The tires should hold air, brakes should work, and gears should shift.

3. Registered: Head to albertabikeswap.ca/seller/ to fill out your information and save time on event day.

Fees & Benefits It costs just $15 to rack a bike ($10 for AMA members). If your bike sells, we take a 15% consignment fee which goes directly back into our community programming, including CAN-BIKE cycling education and donating bikes to over 30 local groups.
