In Edmonton, community isn’t just where you live—it’s how you move. Our Strategic alliance with the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL) represents a shared vision for vibrant, connected, and sustainable neighbourhoods.

The EFCL is the representative body for over 160 community leagues in Edmonton. They are the grassroots engine of the city, fostering local leadership and creating spaces where neighbours become friends. Our Strategic alliance with the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL) is a cornerstone of our work in Edmonton. By partnering with the EFCL, we tap into the heart of Edmonton’s neighbourhoods, ensuring that the Circular Economy isn’t just a high-level concept, but a local reality in every community league.

Connecting the Neighbourhoods:

• Localized Sustainability: By working with the EFCL, Alberta Bike Swap brings the Circular Economy directly to the people. We provide the technical infrastructure so that neighbourhood residents can swap bikes safely and locally.
• The Trust Layer: Neighbors trust their leagues. We honor that trust by using our copyrighted proprietary Bicycle Swap Software to ensure every bike swapped in the city has a verified Chain of Ownership, protecting the community from bike theft.
• Data for the Greater Good: Through our carbon accounting, we help the EFCL track the environmental impact of local cycling, proving that small neighbourhood shifts lead to massive provincial benefits.
